GREEN-IN: Including all persons for a Greener Future

Il progetto dell'UE " GREEN IN - Including all persons for a Greener Future " è stato cofinanziato dal programma ERASMUS+ attraverso la misura "Piccoli partenariati nel campo della gioventù". Per la realizzazione del progetto sono stati approvati contributi per un importo di € 60.000,00. Il richiedente/titolare del progetto è l'Associazione "Life and Joy" (Udruga “Život i Radost”) di Cestica, Croazia. Il partner del progetto è il Comune di Cavriago, Italia. Il progetto è iniziato il 03/10/2022 e si è concluso il 02/03/2024 (17 mesi). L’obiettivo generale del progetto è favorire l’inclusione delle persone con disabilità nella comunità coinvolgendo i giovani nelle azioni delle organizzazioni no-profit. L’obiettivo specifico del progetto è rafforzare la capacità dei giovani come cittadini attivi di sostenere le persone con disabilità nei loro sforzi per essere socialmente inclusi nella comunità più ampia.

L'attività principale svolta nell'ambito del progetto è stata la creazione e l'attuazione di un programma di formazione per i giovani (persone di età compresa tra 18 e 30 anni) per sostenere le persone con disabilità nei loro sforzi per l'inclusione sociale nella vita nella comunità più ampia.

Le attività e i risultati principali includevano quanto segue:

• Selezione di 10 partecipanti che hanno partecipato ad un programma di formazione che fornisce loro competenze e conoscenze per aiutare le persone con disabilità.
• 10 partecipanti (partecipazione a 30 ore di formazione individuale e 2 workshop - 1 in Croazia e 1 in Italia) al fine di formarli a sostenere le persone con disabilità nei loro sforzi per essere socialmente incluse nella comunità più ampia.
• Sono state organizzate 2 azioni basate sulla natura (azioni verdi – 1 in Italia e 1 in Croazia) in modo che i giovani volontari e altri nella comunità possano acquisire conoscenze e capire come includere le persone con disabilità nelle azioni di protezione ambientale nella comunità
• Conduzione della conferenza finale e finalizzazione dell'accordo di cooperazione tra i partenariati per garantire la sostenibilità a lungo termine del modello di progetto.

Vogliamo incoraggiare altre organizzazioni che mirano a migliorare l'inclusione sociale (dei giovani e delle persone con disabilità nella comunità) ad applicare le lezioni apprese nel progetto nella propria pratica. ERASMUS+ project "GREEN-IN" - Summary of the project

The project "GREEN IN - Including all persons for a Greener Future" has been co-financed from the ERASMUS+ program through the measure "Small partnerships in the field of youth". A grant in the amount of EUR 60,000.00 has been approved for the implementation of the project. The partner/applicant is the Association "Life and Joy/Život i radost" from Cestica, Croatia. The project partner is the Municipality of Cavriago/Comune di Cavriago, Italy. The project started on 03/10/2022 and ended on 02/03/2024 (17 months). The overall goal of the project is to encourage the inclusion of people with disabilities in the community by involving young people in the actions of non-profit organizations. The specific goal of the project is to strengthen the capacity of young people as active citizens to support people with disabilities in their efforts to be socially included in the wider community.

The main activity that took place within the framework of the project is the creation and implementation of a training program for young people (persons aged 18 to 30) to support people with disabilities in their efforts for social inclusion in life in the wider community.

Key activities and deliverables included the following:

• Selection of 10 participants who participated in a training program that provides them with the skills and knowledge to help people with disabilities.
• 10 participants ( participating in 30 hours of online training and 2 in-situ workshops - 1 in Croatia and 1 in Italy) in order to acquire capacities to support people with disabilities in their efforts to be socially included in the wider the community.
• 2 nature-based actions (Green actions – 1 in Italy and 1 in Croatia) were organized so that young volunteers and others in the community gain knowledge and understand how to include people with disabilities in environmental protection actions in the community
• Implemented final conference and finalization of the cooperation agreement between partnership to ensure long-term sustainability of the project model.
